From the moment you step into the yoga studio, it is your time ~ time to leave the world behind, time to simplify, time to reconnect to your body, mind and spirit. In a non-competitive, safe and nurturing environment, I invite you to explore your body and breath as you practice asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) and meditation. Throughout class I offer modifications so you can tailor your practice to fit your needs. When you practice yoga you are giving yourself he opportunity to cultivate peace and harmony within. This is one of the many gifts of yoga. When you put your shoes back on and head out the door, you take this gift with you.
